Quatre-cent-quarante-et-un m\u00e8tres lin\u00e9aires de vies projet\u00e9es sur un plan de verre. Au sol, l\u2019asphalte inerte au pas et \u00e0 la v\u00e9g\u00e9tation mais parterre d\u2019un furtif th\u00e9\u00e2tre urbain. Je ne regarde pas chez les gens mais les lumi\u00e8res m\u2019attirent ; pas celle des r\u00e9verb\u00e8res qui emmaillote les murs de teintes tangerines, plut\u00f4t le halo des n\u00e9ons, diodes et autres sources domestiques. D\u00e9j\u00e0 au septi\u00e8me \u00e9tage j\u2019ai remarqu\u00e9 la mappemonde plaqu\u00e9e sur le carreau, celle des voyages d\u00e9sir\u00e9s ou r\u00e9alis\u00e9s. L\u2019ampoule en d\u00e9coupe les contours. Plus \u00e0 gauche l\u2019appartement d\u2019un gar\u00e7on que je n\u2019ai pas int\u00e9ress\u00e9 tr\u00e8s longtemps, c\u2019est bien dommage et seul demeure le souvenir exact du livre pos\u00e9 sur son chevet. Plus en bas un drapeau breton coiffe la t\u00e9l\u00e9vision tandis que l\u2019appartement adjacent affiche fi\u00e8rement un double-c\u0153ur rouge. Au rez-de-jardin une cuisine partiellement dissimul\u00e9e par un film translucide qui d\u00e9coupe horizontalement la baie. Je ne regarde pas chez les gens mais les lumi\u00e8res m\u2019attirent ; je ne fais que passer, sans m\u2019arr\u00eater, un bref regard nourrit mon imagination et j\u2019esp\u00e8re d\u00e9j\u00e0 le retour du lendemain o\u00f9 un nouveau rectangle de 700 par 270 centim\u00e8tres sera \u00e9clair\u00e9. Je ne regarde pas mais je vois ce qui est donn\u00e9 \u00e0 regarder, peu de choses mais quelques d\u00e9cim\u00e8tres accumul\u00e9s de vies dont j\u2019ignore tout sans chercher \u00e0 en savoir davantage.<\/p>\n<p>Lors de cette marche je re\u00e7ois de I. un enregistrement de Delphine Bretesch\u00e9. L\u2019artiste y parle de vacances, de trente centim\u00e8tres d\u2019agenda repr\u00e9sentant quinze jours d\u2019un repos salvateur et m\u00e9rit\u00e9. Et dans ce manifeste, sur \u2013 et contre mais rien n\u2019est certain \u2013 la mesure du temps, une phrase m\u2019attire : \u00ab Je tiens \u00e0 mon centim\u00e8tre, c\u2019est bon d\u2019avoir son centim\u00e8tre pour exprimer son moi \u00e0 soi. \u00bb Mesurant l\u2019espace d\u2019\u00e9volution des autres je me mets \u00e0 envier ce centim\u00e8tre, ces quelques millim\u00e8tres de cocagne et ces mesures qui ne se voient pas. Exit le portfolio que je me fais de cette fa\u00e7ade d\u2019immeuble, l\u2019\u00e9talonnage de ces existences est ailleurs et je n\u2019en aurais pas la cl\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Au matin plus rien n\u2019est visible de mes fantaisies du soir pass\u00e9. Mes soixante-trois fois sept m\u00e8tres par deux virgule soixante-dix sont devenus silencieux, ne refl\u00e9tant que la couverture de stratus laiteux.
